The Angel Shrine Doll Workshop!

I hope that you will join me on my newest and certainly most ambitious
journey in quite some time… I am launching today, a new blog site:

"Cloth and Clay Doll Makers"

It is up and running… and in the next day or two I hope to begin to make available the Angel Shrine Doll Workshop, right on the new blog.

It is a 5-part workshop that I have just finished editing...
and hope to have ready for cloth and clay doll makers
of all skill levels and interest.

You can find the new blog at: http://clothandclaydollmakers.blogspot.com

(Just click on the link or use the one on the side column right here)

I hope that you'll stop by, leave a comment and let me know if you
enjoy Part 1 of the Angel Shrine Doll Workshop.

Winter's Strong Hold... Eased A Bit!

From our Resurrection Lilies attempting to emerge...
to clumps and clumps of Daffodils, all standing like sentinels in the soil!

From Jack Frost's shenanigans, when winter's lights were low....
to last Fall's seed pods, refusing to let go!

Even our Lenten Roses...
remain tightly closed, waiting... for release from winter's stronghold!

Enjoy this new week!

"Right Church...Wrong Pew" in ADQ!

The newest issue of Art Doll Quarterly (spring 2015)
features some incredible art dolls by artists like:
Ankie Daaken
Jaquiline Hurlbert
Cindee Moyer
Tatjana Raum

And there on page 114...
you'll find "Right Church... Wrong Pew!"

He is made using:
paper clay, paper maché and assorted mulberry papers.
This little guy was my "anthropomorphic challenge" doll
who found his way to the "Show & Tell" section in this issue.

I'd say he looks like he's headed to Mardi Gras!
Thanks for taking a peek!

February's "FunTastic" Give-Away: Picture This!

We came across these photographs on one of our visits
to the Farmer's Flea Market in Delaware... oodles of vintage photos.
We have divided these up into two (2) lots of fifteen photos each...
to be given away this month.  (sooner... rather then later!)

These are perfect for altered-art, mixed-media, or just displaying around your home and in your studio!  Instant family... (wink!)
If you would like to join the fun, just leave us a comment on this post...
then your name will go into the hat for the drawing;
two winners will be picked!  Yup... postage is on us!
(did we mention: "sooner rather then later!")
(please keep in mind that we will need a full name and mailing address
upon selection of the names chosen... in order to mail the photos)
Warm Wishes from South Jersey... on this Lord's Day!
